Business Address
Can I use the address as a registered business address in Germany?
The business address can be used for purposes pursuant to § 5 DDG, § 14 GewO as well as for commercial registration, business registration, and imprint-related requirements. It is a real business location with physically existing office spaces and workstations. The address can be used with authorities, banks, business partners, as well as contractual partners. Responsibility for the accuracy of the information you provide remains with you as the contractual partner.
When can I start using the business address?
After completing the booking and successful payment, the address can generally be used immediately for legal and administrative purposes. The labeling on the mailbox is usually completed within 24 to 48 hours after the start of the contract. If legal identity or verification requirements apply, usability may be postponed until the required verification procedures have been completed.
How does mail handling and forwarding work?
Mail addressed to your business address is received and registered. In the basic plan, mail is securely stored for personal collection during regular business hours. In the premium plan, shipments are opened, digitized, and provided electronically; originals can be forwarded upon request. Up to 30 letters per month are included; additional letters are charged at €0.85 plus VAT per letter.
Can I later switch to a private office, flex desk, or team office?
A later upgrade to a private office, flex desk, or team office is generally possible. An existing business address contract can be converted into an office or workspace agreement. The conditions of the new agreement replace the previous contractual terms. Price advantages from annual contracts may be credited proportionally if contractually provided.
Is an identity or document verification required?
In accordance with legal requirements and to prevent misuse, the identity of the contract holder as well as authorized representatives may be verified. This may require the submission of an official identification document, a commercial register extract, or comparable documentation. The data is processed exclusively for this purpose.
What contract terms are available?
Both monthly and annual contract terms are available. Discounted conditions apply to annual contracts. The scope of services and usage rights generally correspond to the monthly model unless otherwise agreed. Termination takes place according to the contractually agreed notice periods.
Can the business address be used regardless of location, and are there restrictions regarding company type?

Does the processing of mail and customer data comply with GDPR requirements?
The processing of personal data and the handling of mail are carried out in compliance with the GDPR. Digital documents and scans are processed exclusively for contractual purposes and stored within the EU. Data is only shared with third parties if legally required or with explicit consent.
How accessible is the location?
The location is conveniently situated in Darmstadt and can be reached both by public transportation and by car. Public transport stops and parking options are within walking distance. However, parking availability cannot be guaranteed.
Can I use the address for Amazon seller accounts, online shops, or marketplace platforms?
The business address can generally be used for online shops, marketplace platforms, and similar services, provided that these platforms accept a legally valid business address under German law. However, recognition depends on the respective platform.
Can the address be used as a primary or secondary office?
The address can be used as a primary or secondary office provided this complies with commercial, trade, and tax regulations. The user is responsible for proper declaration and coordination with the relevant authorities.
Can international companies use the TowrHub business address in Germany?
Yes. Companies or individuals based outside Germany can use the business address. Additional shipping, handling, or customs costs may apply for international mail forwarding.
Do I need a German residential address to register a company in Germany?
No. A company in Germany can generally use a legally compliant business address even if the founders live abroad. The TowrHub business address can be used for business registration, commercial register purposes, and official correspondence where permitted by law.
Can I use the business address for a start-up or a company that is still being founded?
Yes. The business address is generally suitable for founders, start-ups, and companies in formation, provided the relevant legal requirements are met. The exact use in the registration process depends on the competent authority and the applicable legal framework.
Can I use the address on my website, invoices, and official business documents?
Yes. The business address can generally be used on your website imprint, invoices, business correspondence, and for other official business purposes, provided all legal requirements are fulfilled and the information used is accurate.
Offices
How can I book a flex desk, private office, or team office?
Booking is carried out through a written contract specifying the start date, duration, and scope of services. After the contract is concluded, users receive access to the booked spaces.
Is the workspace permanently available, or is it a shared desk model?
The flex desk operates as a non-assigned shared workspace model. Private offices and team offices are permanently assigned and exclusively used by the respective tenants.
Are internet and utilities included in the office or flex desk price?
Internet, electricity, heating, as well as general operating and ancillary costs are usually included in the usage fee. Additional services or excessive consumption may be charged separately.
Can external visitors be received?
Receiving visitors is generally permitted. Meetings should take place in meeting rooms or common areas and require prior reservation.
What access hours apply to flex desks, private offices, and team offices?
Private and team offices can also be used outside regular business hours and may be accessible up to 24/7 depending on the model. Flex desks can only be used during the building’s opening hours. Access credentials may not be shared with third parties.
Are the offices lockable and for exclusive use?
Private and team offices are lockable and intended exclusively for authorized users. Use by third parties without permission is not permitted.
Can I bring my own furniture or technical equipment?
Personal office furniture or technical equipment can be brought in after prior coordination, provided that safety, electrical, and fire protection regulations are observed.
Can I upgrade from a flex desk to a private office or team office?
An upgrade to a private office or team office is possible if suitable capacities are available. In this case, a new contract will be concluded.
Are cleaning and general maintenance included?
Cleaning of shared areas is included in the usage fee. Maintenance of private offices is generally the responsibility of the tenants.
What rules apply regarding noise, phone calls, and confidential conversations?
Phone calls should be conducted in a way that does not disturb other users. Confidential conversations should take place in private offices or meeting rooms.
Can company signs or nameplates be installed?
Tenants of private or team offices can install a company sign at the location. Design and installation must be coordinated with the operator and comply with building guidelines.
Are kitchen facilities, coffee, and drinks available?
A shared kitchenette with refrigerator is available. Coffee is included for workspace and office users.
Public transport & parking
The location is only about a 6-minute walk from Luisenplatz – the central transportation hub of Darmstadt with tram connections in all directions. Public parking spaces and parking garages are located nearby.
